If I'd had listened carefully enough in the Tenderloin, to Liliane the bartendress at the 'No Name' bar, otherwise known as the Geary Club, I'd have been better off. She would always insist on this song, which isn't my favorite, but whatevers.

I enjoyed this one more, even if it has no relevance now. And didn't since I was 28.

This was a favorite at The Brown Jug, may it rest in peace, across from where I lived for 15 years. Oy weh.

A little more serious. I'm typically desperate, but seldom all that serious.

This got popularized thanks to a recent movie, but you know, still cool.

What else, well theres always not enough time for everything that needs doing, but why not whimsically stop here?

It's nice to remember when hopes sprang eternal, many moons ago.

It's a strange abstraction, all these Tenderloin tunes, but I'm grateful.

So, mostly happy songs, because what else even remotely makes sense?
