A Warning to The West from a Dead Mullah

I

Find below the first of several such letters addressed to the youth of the west by the late Grand Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei. Never heard about it, huh? It didn't make the news in the United States. The American people are always the last to know, especially nowadays.

You see, this letter – and others like it – was suppressed by the Freedom of the Press. Suppressed by the same people who only bring you 'all the news that's fit to print'. They rub your noses in shit like that all day. And every day. Well, he's dead now, killed by our tax money at the behest of Israel.

Not that the American elite minded much. Israel doesn't really tell the United States what to do exactly. The people who run that country and the people who own this one generally see their interests as aligned, which is more or less accurate, if not true. They both want more money. Much more. And they'll do just about anything to keep it that way. For themselves. This is utterly unremarkable.

It's how elites have operated from time immemorial. It is very boring and to be expected of low lifes. One track mind fanatics who present themselves as philanthrophists or humanitarians. They give each other awards commemorating their great generosity, the monuments they build to themselves dressed up in humble sacrificial rhetoric about their mothers.

They pretend to be good people and we pretend to believe them. At least most people do. But things are changing, the tectonic plates are moving under their feet and our bestest buddy Israel isn't really all it's cracked up to be. A very chintzy country, when you bother to look it. Klassy with a K.

Wikipedia describes his Ali Khamenei's youth this way:

'As an adolescent, Khamenei read widely in literature, poetry, and novels, became familiar with major works of Persian poetry, and began composing poetry at a young age. He characterized himself as having a strong memory and an aptitude for literary criticism, stating that he could recall texts read in adolescence and that his critiques of poetry were often affirmed by poets and audiences. He recounted that during the Pahlavi era, he once jumped from a moving train to perform his prayers on time. He described his childhood as marked by poverty, noting that his family lived in a poor neighborhood of Mashhad, his mother made clothes from his father's old garments, and that they at times lacked sufficient food, relying on small amounts of raisins or milk purchased with minor sums provided by relatives.

Our Man in Tehran

This man, whom your tax dollars murdered on this past Febrary 28, was arrested six times by the United States trained secret police force SAVAK, working on behalf of our puppet, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, starting in 1963. Then, he was exiled to Iranshahr, a remote desert city in southeastern Baluchestan in 1976.

Wikipedia continues:

'Khamenei was a mainstream figure in the Iranian Revolution, and upon its success, held many posts in the newly established Islamic republic. In the aftermath of the revolution, he was the target of an attempted assassination that paralysed his right arm.

Future American stooges the MEK tried a bomb

Khamenei served as the third president of Iran from 1981 to 1989 during the Iran–Iraq War, when he also developed close ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). After the death of Ruhollah Khomeini in 1989, Khamenei was elected supreme leader by the Assembly of Experts. During the deliberations, Khamenei expressed reservations about his own religious qualifications and suitability for the position, as he was a mid-ranking cleric and did not meet the constitutional requirement of marja'. The constitution was subsequently amended to remove that requirement, and the Assembly reconfirmed his leadership later that year.

That brings you up to date, more or less, if you are of a certain age. You remember the chants of Makhbar Amrika, the fervent women dressed in black, mourning their dead sons in Iraq, sent into oblivion, or paradise, if you wish, by the combined efforts of the West and the Soviet Union on behalf of Saddam Hussein. You're supposed to hate these fanatics. Well, Twelver Shiism isn't my cup of tea either, but then again, we're not exactly the target audience, are we now? And who gives a fuck what an American or a European thinks about the happenings in a large and strange place that our countrymen could find on a map to save their lives. I'm reminded of what is said to be an infamous quote, but it was actually correct, and certainly the spirit of it fits in today, perfectly.

'How horrible, fantastic, incredible it is that we should be digging trenches and trying on gas-masks here because of a quarrel in a far-away country between people of whom we know nothing'.

I'm fine with the Islamic Republic of Iran. It's really none of my business and nobody in charge in this country cares what I think, you think, any ordinary person thinks, anyway. So the feelings mutual. Take your Project for a New American Century and shove it. Take your Grand Strategy and shove it. Take your Iran War and shove it. Take your flag-waving Christo-Zionist ideology and shove it. Take your military industrial complex and (whut whut)? Shove it, white sand niggas.

We live in a crude country led by crude little men, who take bribes from dual nationals loyal to a foreign country called Israel. Now, every billionaire in America – and the overwhelming majority are nominally Christian but in truth stone killer atheists, nihilists whose true god is Mammon, or if you prefer, Molloch – gets a turn with the President.

The billionaires tip him 1/4 billion and he sucks their limp dicks or eats their hairy old pussies. Trump might as well be a faggit for all the cocks he's sucked. It's called The American Way, or Dream, if you prefer, because you have to be asleep to believe in it, so sed George Carlin.

Everybody I talk to hates it. Left wingers, right wingers, makes no difference to me. And them, the billionaires. The kid fuckers. Turns out kid-fucking is unpopular with the overwhelming majority of non-Harvard swells and nerds.

So does the entire world now. Too bad what happened to this country. It's a crying shame. I kind of don't give a shit anymore. They made your bed, now you can lie in it. I fought these kinds of people all my adult life and I'm over it. So over it.

Well, Shithole America, along with its little side piece Israel, is going to get its comeuppance one of these days. Don't know when. Don't know how. Don't care much anymore either. One way or another these countries are skating on thinner ice, everyday. And they did it to themselves, that's why it really used to hurt me.

Not anymore. I'm looking forward to the future. A future where more countries in the world get a say in things. And when the Evil Empire goes the way of the Soviet Union. The United States, or successor states, will still be around, more or less. I mean Argentina is still there. It just doesn't have nuclear weapons.

This brief yet eloquent 500 word letter is geared towards a civilization with a short attention span. It was written in 2015. After the Charlie Hebdo deaths in Paris. You should consider bothering to read it. It might surprise you.

You know, whatever else this guy was, he wasn't insincere. He has his beliefs and he stuck to them. He martyred himself, which I personally find distasteful, but he was very old already and probably had a broken heart, in a way, I guess, as we all do. He, like Jesus and billions of others, at the end, shrugged his shoulders and said "fuck it". And now, without further ado, the words of a scholar and superior writer, the late Grand Ayatollah Khamenei.

Message of ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of The Islamic Republic of Iran

In the name of God, the Beneficent the Merciful

To the Youth in Europe and North America,

The recent events in France and similar ones in some other Western countries have convinced me to directly talk to you about them. I am addressing you, [the youth], not because I overlook your parents, rather it is because the future of your nations and countries will be in your hands; and also I find that the sense of quest for truth is more vigorous and attentive in your hearts.

I don’t address your politicians and statesmen either in this writing because I believe that they have consciously separated the route of politics from the path of righteousness and truth.

I would like to talk to you about Islam, particularly the image that is presented to you as Islam. Many attempts have been made over the past two decades, almost since the disintegration of the Soviet Union, to place this great religion in the seat of a horrifying enemy. The provocation of a feeling of horror and hatred and its utilization has unfortunately a long record in the political history of the West.

Here, I don’t want to deal with the different phobias with which the Western nations have thus far been indoctrinated. A cursory review of recent critical studies of history would bring home to you the fact that the Western governments’ insincere and hypocritical treatment of other nations and cultures has been censured in new historiographies.

The histories of the United States and Europe are ashamed of slavery, embarrassed by the colonial period and chagrined at the oppression of people of color and non-Christians. Your researchers and historians are deeply ashamed of the bloodsheds wrought in the name of religion between the Catholics and Protestants or in the name of nationality and ethnicity during the First and Second World Wars. This approach is admirable.

By mentioning a fraction of this long list, I don’t want to reproach history; rather I would like you to ask your intellectuals as to why the public conscience in the West awakens and comes to its senses after a delay of several decades or centuries. Why should the revision of collective conscience apply to the distant past and not to the current problems? Why is it that attempts are made to prevent public awareness regarding an important issue such as the treatment of Islamic culture and thought?

You know well that humiliation and spreading hatred and illusionary fear of the “other” have been the common base of all those oppressive profiteers. Now, I would like you to ask yourself why the old policy of spreading “phobia” and hatred has targeted Islam and Muslims with an unprecedented intensity. Why does the power structure in the world want Islamic thought to be marginalized and remain latent? What concepts and values in Islam disturb the programs of the super powers and what interests are safeguarded in the shadow of distorting the image of Islam? Hence, my first request is: Study and research the incentives behind this widespread tarnishing of the image of Islam.

My second request is that in reaction to the flood of prejudgments and disinformation campaigns, try to gain a direct and firsthand knowledge of this religion. The right logic requires that you understand the nature and essence of what they are frightening you about and want you to keep away from.

I don’t insist that you accept my reading or any other reading of Islam. What I want to say is: Don’t allow this dynamic and effective reality in today’s world to be introduced to you through resentments and prejudices. Don’t allow them to hypocritically introduce their own recruited terrorists as representatives of Islam.

Receive knowledge of Islam from its primary and original sources. Gain information about Islam through the Qur’an and the life of its great Prophet. I would like to ask you whether you have directly read the Qur’an of the Muslims. Have you studied the teachings of the Prophet of Islam and his humane, ethical doctrines? Have you ever received the message of Islam from any sources other than the media?

Have you ever asked yourself how and on the basis of which values has Islam established the greatest scientific and intellectual civilization of the world and raised the most distinguished scientists and intellectuals throughout several centuries?

I would like you not to allow the derogatory and offensive image-buildings to create an emotional gulf between you and the reality, taking away the possibility of an impartial judgment from you. Today, the communication media have removed the geographical borders. Hence, don’t allow them to besiege you within fabricated and mental borders.

Although no one can individually fill the created gaps, each one of you can construct a bridge of thought and fairness over the gaps to illuminate yourself and your surrounding environment. While this preplanned challenge between Islam and you, the youth, is undesirable, it can raise new questions in your curious and inquiring minds. Attempts to find answers to these questions will provide you with an appropriate opportunity to discover new truths.

Therefore, don’t miss the opportunity to gain proper, correct and unbiased understanding of Islam so that hopefully, due to your sense of responsibility toward the truth, future generations would write the history of this current interaction between Islam and the West with a clearer conscience and lesser resentment.
