The OG cast.

It is very important to learn to drive drunk "the right way" as Deputy Clemmy points out here. I've been doing it off and on for as long as I can remember. I've refined my technique to the point where it is now a science. I drive exactly as I would otherwise, only I pay more attention, as Clemmy so helpfully points out.

Air conditioning to the face, loud music, and all of the rest of it. 5 mps under the speed limit, unless it's a cop behind you. Then you just peel out. Leave that sumbitch biting the dust.

I've never been caught, much less pulled over. I bluffed my way through a 4th of July checkpoint in coastal Oregon back in 2005. Over the limit for sures but because I am white, polite and a Sneaky Pete, when necessary, I got away with it. See I'm not just "book smart". I'm "smart smart" too.

The Tenderloin taught me that and she was a harsh mistress, but one I still hold dear. I'm still picking up tips. Learned some new ones today, as a matter of fact, but we'll leave that omitted. Ok. One old codger told me that you can beat a breathilizer if you quickly chew up a Hall's mentholyptus. Never had to bother, but two are in the glove compartment now. As the Boy Scouts say: Be Prepared!

All the stuff I've omitted and it still wasn't enough to let me skate entirely unscathed. But it wasn't to my detriment. Not in the end. It was to the detriment of several others. And that's a fact, Jack. My father included. In the end, I've never not gotten my pound of flesh.

This program – I mean the show – provides many helpful reminders such as the ones Clemmy provides the good-looking teen girl students here. It is important to have credentialed community authority figures tell girls how to be and then what to do. Her character is "degenerate whore", a favourite of mine in real life, too. Loves me a degenerate whore with a heart of gold.

I'll give 'em this: give me a whore, degenerate or otherwise, with a heart of gold or otherwise, rather than highly educated professional white American good-girl. Been there and done with that. They're not that good. Or good enough. Not really, jus sayin'. Just joshin' with y'all.

Don't take too much of any of this seriously. It would be bad for your vibe. It might even harsh your mellow? I don't want to harsh it for you, as I did yesterday, if it even got through, which I doubt. This is less oblique. I say live and let live and don't impose your perceived expertise on my life. Or else.

No one knows anything about anyone. We are all strangers to one another, which I thought was sad. It is not sad. It is good. It should provide the basis for boundaries that enforce mutual respect, as opposed to contemptuous aggression masked as concern. This is why I prefer strangers to friends and family: they take you as you are, without preconceived notions. And it always works out nice.

Remember this. Inside every attorney's head lives a cop yearning to assert control, because shysters are so important. Just ask 'em. Their time is valued in dollars and cents. If you're not on the clock, you don't exist. Even the liberal ones.

All pettifoggers think like cops. They have to. It's part of their gig. Then they take on their traits, after years of unconscious conditioning. Especially the liberal ones. They're Sneaky Petes too. Just not sneaky enough. That's why they're so hated. They're just leaches on the system with a memorization-based piece of paper.

A leftist 'Dot-Commie' friend from WTO protest daze lamented how a legal education changed her brain. Rachel Sussman. The indoctrination changed the way she thought. That stuck with me 20 years ago. I think she defends immigrant rights in SF. God bless her. At least she's not an ambulance-chaser. A big fish in a small provincial pond is nothing in the wider world.

But we won't belabor this boring bullshit any further as I've concluded that this thing will go PG-13 from here on out since the 'heavy' stuff isn't read as much as the light. More just a jabber jaw journal than anything else. Bounce around some ideas after throwing whatever elbows need throwing.

See, I have data on all y'all's habits. Analytics. It's amazing the things My Friends at Ghost tell me. Psychographic profiles and all of the rest of it. And it isn't even AI integrated. Yet. There will be hover drones outside of each of your houses by Thanksgiving. I got the premium plan.

So, the computer sez no more Nietzsche shit. Turns people off. They don't get it and they aren't that interested anyway. Been riding that hobby horse publically for too long. I need to jeer more privately. People finding it off-putting, understandibly enough.

The politics bullshite is 2nd least popular. Everyone knows the score, nobody does anything about it. The travel stuff is hit or miss too. Repetitive. The cartoon episode (minimal creative imput from me aside from curation) scored 100, so we'll stick with videos. For now. Well, these guys used to do something about it, but they've gone out of style with the Great Depression, so why bother with it?

Fuck writing. I don't even like to do it. Never have. Felt like I needed to, but I don't. Couldn't give a flying fuck, one way or another. It's like watching the news. It sucks. Makes me unhappy. I don't do that anymore on purpose. I'd rather just ramble like this. Takes no effort and it's fun. No research, no editing, no muss, no fuss.

It's like brain farts. Well, they're free and you're also free to not read it, or unsubscribe entirely. It's a free country, said G. Gordon Liddy, with the addendum, 'when I was a kid'. Nostalgic pitiful reactionary psychopathic Nazi. He did play a villain on Miami Vice very convincingly. The journalist is based on I.F. Stone.

There was a professor's kid named Eisenstein up at PSU. Too cool for school. He would wear a Miami Vice cap 'ironically', which I always thought was stupid because it's a great show. Now he's an organic farmer or something in the mid-state. Last I heard his licence plate was a vanity one: 'FARM JEW'. Ha! Better in central PA than on a kibbutz, that much is for sure. Probably a good guy, then and now, for all I know.

We had a friend in common. Economics Masters and the off the the pharmaceutical industry, just like a good Schlesier. High handed son of a prick. After Bavaria, Silesia was the Hofburg of the Nazis. Well, East Prussia and the Junkers might beg to differ.

Bavarians hate Silesians because they showed up as refugees and acted like they owned the place. 'Every Silesian owned a castle' is my mother's dismissive comment. I know from Silesians. Over there, too, but that's not fit for print.

I like carrying on these regional grudges for kicks. They come in handy when assessing Americans, too. That's what fun about writing. You waste a paragraph delivering an easter egg or three to the readership. Maybe you remember something they forgot or never knew in the first place. That happens alot.

(Happy interlude. Lutz Fiedler, the anarchist ringleader punk kid from the Sportgymnasium Leipzig is now a Doktor of Philosophy curating Hannah Arendt at the University of Potsdam. We're gonna hang in early October in Berlin. Maybe I should write about that Fulbright Year in detail? Happiest half year of my life, once the coal-fired winter ended anyway, I guess. What I should really do is just write about the great kids I got to 'teach'. Saw the boobs of one of them after we broke into the swimming pool at the Olympic Stadium after the Abiball. Just swam right up to me and grabbed the diving board. I was matter of fact about it, naturally. They inspire me still today. The kids, not the boobs, although they were spectacular. At least I didn't fuck her or anyone else I was in charge of, unlike others. It was basically a no-show job that the American Empire Mafia put in place to link elites. But I've gone into that already. I guess that's why I regret losing almost all of those friends, but you what? Back when happy memories were more fresh and less faded. Whaddaya gunna do? Their loss.)

Besides which, to rehash yet again, this writing fuckery has brought me nothing but grief from family and one guy on here this summer. So, at long last, here is the promised funny degenerate tee vee whore for your delectation. And mine.

Frisbee is The Man. I meet Frisbee types every now and again. Preppers who fuck their cousins. Or do I repeat myself? More like people who bring up Frisbeesque topics, like "ancient aliens". Had a brief tete a tete on that particular subject at a very fine bar this morning in venerable Schulkyll Haven, PA.

Was coming back from a buying trip to Clarion and Lewisburg and hit the old D & D Grille & Bar. One block away I booked a family trip sans 1 on Jay Gould's parlor car 'Black Diamond' in mid-October. Heading up and back to Jim Thorpe after I get back from Germany. Fun! And classy. Not cheap. Let the little people enjoy the mere glass domed so-called observation car.

Spent the night in a mansion in Shamokin, the old Gillespie Estate downtown right by where my father cut his teeth as a cub reporter on the Shamokin Citizen. Got tore up, but got up the next morning at dawn to take photos anyways. Water later on is the key.

I mean, how drunk can you really get on Yuengling Lager? Gimme a break. I throw in a margarita and a vodka tonic just to feel something. It's like chuggin 4 ciders in Mercersburg that time. Another DUI avoided, thanks to a 3 car convoy. Didn't need it, but it worked out fine in the end. Or did it? You just never know.

The Citizen? Well, it's deader than a doornail now. They've got a new paper in town that looks alright. The town coal pile has trees on most of it. So, nature takes its course and water finds its own level. It's a great town, like so many others in the Ohio Valley. Still need to get to Portsmouth. Maybe next year.

A little more complaining, if that's ok with you. Cigarettes really do a better job of calming you down that speaking to a strange whore or silly gigolo who also charges by the hour and tries to keep you coming back for a new addiction. I mean they're indigenous to North America, cancer sticks are.

Was Tony Soprano's Mom right about the psychiatry? No, no she wasn't. It's just the way of the world. But I do share her contempt. Not her reasons for it. Nor her methods, jackleg. 'There's no going back to the place we started from'.

(We'll throw this in, just to break up the monotony. I think I'll write about Alice in Chains and / or Rush as a public education vehicle, especially for people like me from prole towns, where 'cool' music hadn't yet penetrated by the late-1980's. Now my town has plenty of purple haired kids. Probably not surprising that the olds mistrust this transgender stuff. I have trangender acquaintances. Could care less or more about a stranger's brain or genitalia. Traditionalists, of whom I count myself one in some respects, probably figure their kids have problems enough with the lack of educational attainment, job prospects, opioids, gambling, Roblox, pot, secularization, commericialization, pornography, heroin, suicide, whatever else capitalist system is dishing out. Do smarty pants city people with high SES really have to shove something else down their throats? Yes, yes they very fucking much do and you're a bigot if you ask any questions about your teen son. An expert school psychiatrist will have something to say about your tween son or dauther, for that matter. That's liberalism to people nowadays. From the Four Freedoms and the Square Deal to Genocide abroad and Cultural Revolution at home. And it's not entirely off the mark, either. Whatevers. Elect a boy prom queen: that'll smash the patriarchy or whatever. Everything is whatever anymore. Anyways, that 1960 Les Paul I got in West Virginia for a song some time back is the one Jerry Cantrell plays apparently. It'll be some sort of mish-mash sociology and personal experience. One covers the intellect the other the heart. When you're a teenager with an ass full of Milli Vanilli and Vanilla Ice and Tiffany and Debbie Gibson and all of the rest of the excreable late 80's Top 40. It's worth doing and hasn't been done, I'll bet. Playing this lately. Always open to interpretation, double entendre. You know, Eros 'n Thanatos...)

Some people do benefit from it. The system. About 10%. Professional Middle Class elements and business owners. They're doing great. I just haven't met one lately, I guess. Country folks can't afford it and don't want it anyway. I fucking hate embourgoisiement. I'm glad my factory town remains immune, unlike Lititz.

The Tenderloin was succumbing when I left and I'm told it sucks now too, just like the rest of that erect penis peninsula. It's fucking the Delta, I'll bet, all up in it. A playground for rich people. It kind of always was, but there was more of an ideological diversity. Now all we've got is rich people of all colors: A United Colors of Benetton of assholes.

It's just a pitiful symptom of the breakdown in human relations thanks to Big Capital and a spoiled rotten workaholic populace. I'll throw my lot in with the fucked and forgotten nearer home. Like the people in Schuylkill Haven. Better to live on your feet die on your knees, as the saying goes. \

They might not know it was Zapata, but they know how to fight for a just cause. Labor. The Molly Maguires. Their grandparents did it in Dubya Dubya Two. Over there. And they remember, too. They hate data centers, magic phones and social media. My kinda folks

These folks, when I bother to ask, to someone smart, they're always bipolar too. Maybe it's self selection. But it's followed by a cackle or a disgusted snort. The head shrinkers are in ill repute in these haunts. If you'd prefer a character witness, Werner Herzog A great mistake of the 20th Century, according to Werner Herzog, anyway. What else would you expect? From a German. It actually has become funny ha ha in the meantime. His quote is worth it in full.

'I’d rather die than go to an analyst, because it’s my view that something fundamentally wrong happens there. If you harshly light every last corner of a house, the house will be uninhabitable. It’s like that with your soul; if you light it up, shadows and darkness and all, people will become ‘uninhabitable.’ I am convinced that it’s psychoanalysis—along with quite a few other mistakes—that has made the twentieth century so terrible. As far as I’m concerned, the twentieth century, in its entirety, was a mistake.'

No shit, the 20th Century was a catastrophe, especially for Europe. It gestated climate destabilization. The Golden Age of Capitalism was a monstrous hell for much of the 'Third World' where proxy wars with the Soviet Union raged and tens of millions died. You can't rape Afghanistan, Bzezinski & Carter & Reagan and then wonder why it came back on you on 9/ll. Fuck off, America. You did have it coming, cosmically, if not in fact. Gee I wonder why they chose New York. Oh well.

To loop back, a cute punk rock girl worked in the latter town, in Lewisburg. Y'all might know it as the home of Bucknell. So, the punks are into antiques nowadays, come to find out. Eh, my niece wears a Nirvana smiley shirt. Doesn't know much about the music, tho.

It's a young people lifestyle accoutrement, the punk style. Probably a born again Christian. Her manners were impecable and cute as a button. Looked 17 but carried herself like a 25 year old. She was telling the old superiors up front a thing or two, so probably not a minor.

Couldn't lure her to a bar, though. Not my niece, the college girl. Oy veh. Probably straight edge, if people still do Punk Puritanism these days. Without further ado, here is another venerable Greek. I keep delaying the videos with all this rigamarole. And if that wasn't enough, Zach Galifinakis gets into the Joos and their devious ways in this one.

It's a topic I'm weary of. Die Judenfrage. Some rabbi said 'The Jews are just like everybody else, only moreso'. Even that's overstating it. People are people. I'm reminded of what Margaret Thatcher said when asked her opinion of Koo Stark, of Randy Andy fame back in the day.

Her quiet-British-way response? 'I don't think of her'. Well, I don't think of the Jewish Question, but it is a Big Topic Online lately – see below – and not for the good, that's for sure. Just stop the genocide and keep a lower profile. If y'all Zionists know what's good for you. As for Jews on that topic, I mean they are in leading positions fighting against it so, that's great and inspiring. It's the leaders in that community and their affiliate billionaires that are the matter at stake.

(A hot seller on Ebay is Luther's 'Lies of the Jews'. $50 for a shitty reprint paperback. I don't see it out at the sales. Everybody who buys it cherishes it too much, I guess. Sad shit, but that's what's selling out there. I remember a cool girl at 1460 Hayes – possibly a Jewess, never bothered to find out, because who cares – with whom I stayed up all night and then went to Little Kabul in Fremont for lunch. No sleep til Fremont! We went on one date at the Nite Cap and Geary Club. I decided she was too nice for me. Too sweet. That's on me. She wasn't the only one about whom I thought that, either. And did the gentlemanly thing. So, anyways, the all-star denizens of said depraved lair had left out a copy of Henry Ford's 'The International Jew' on their coffee table, such as it was. I don't know whom the guilty party was. It could have been any of them, but I have my suspicions that it was the house bookmonger. She in turn exclaimed with delight: 'Oooh The International Jew. My favorite!' I think she moved to New York City, like possibly 1o% of San Franciscans do, eventually. Non-profit do-gooder, I think. Not for me, that work or that place. It's not on a human scale.)

This one just takes the piss out of Burning Man. Frontal assault on a stupid thing. Never once tempted to go. Friends did and I inwardly rolled my eyes. I'm always delighted when bad weather ruins a good time for bohemian artist rich people. Flamboyantly creative types who end up in marketing or design for Exxon-Mobil. Flood 'em out. Drive them from their cushy bastions!

I mean, if you like it, that's cool. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks, I've always said. And besides. Bless your heart, as our more refined and laconic Americans like to say. It's fun to say fuck you with a complement. I'm learning that art.

This is just the first segement. You know, Paramount Plus has the rest now. Not as of a year or two ago. But now it's behind a paywall. This one is about revenge, daymares, the usual. Rage. Fits of rage. Revenge is a dish best served cold, the only way I know how.

This is soooo gooood!

This is new. Hadn't even seen it. But Jamie Lee Curtis shows up. So, booyah.

I can't find the Raineesha X send up of the Nation of Islam. Parmount Plus (and thus CBS) has it for a fee. Well, we all know who runs them now – the Oracle CEO's son – so thanks, but no thanks. Shout out Bari Weiss. Speaking of her...

Next to nothing of the above is important. I guess the only thing I'd ask you guys about, you five, is whether you're all still completely in favor of Modernity? I'm having my doubts about the Scientific Method fer Chrissakes. I know I'm violently opposed to Post-Modernity, in most respects any way. It's derivative. It's not even an Antithesis. It's a mish-mash of everything. A dog's breakfast. A trend in philosophy among frog pedophile advocates and Maoists in the go-go 1970s. Deconstruction, all this bullshit that Chomsky and Sokal have already long since dismantled as a pose and dismissed unceremoniously. Public Intellectuals, Chomsky didn't think much of them. He half liked the contempt ordinary Americans had and have for them. Most of them are just Imperial Boot-lickers.

But what about Modernity itself? Psychoanalysis and Marxism are a big chunk of it. I'm opposed to both, which means I'm against most of the Frankfurt School now too, even if there were some valuable things there. Arendt and Benjamin are the best of that bunch. Not that I'm some expert, but I know the general drift.

I don't want to side with Heidegger, but I might have to, if I could ever makes heads or tails of it. He lived in a little Black Forest village all his life. Said fuck the modern world, at least in his Lifestyle Choices. Never apologized for anything either. Never said boo about the Holocaust, which is a fucking disgrace. I guess he did quit or get fired by the Nazis and figured, fuck you you weren't there, just like my grandfather told my mother and her sisters. In so many words. So, what about Modernity? Email me. Or call. Either way. Just to show you read it to the end of this 'long-winded and insincere' rant. Ha!

I think the real problem of American politics is partly linguistic and partly who the messangers are. You can't convince working people of any background with shit like Latinx. It's a gendered language, just like German. Stupid neologisms that are policed. Everyone hates it except for academics, I guess. They need to produce something, no matter how worthless. Their jobs depend on production, which must suck for them!

The other part is the messengers. I'd say Steve Beshear of Kentucky for president. White guys from the south win: see Clinton, Bill & Carter, Jimmy. Obama was a fluke of rhetorical talent: he spoke like a normal person, not like 'Hitlery'. There was nothing to it, of course, but there's the Senate and the filibuster, which the Democrats secretly love because it means they don't have to do shit. Just get reelected and collect the perks and insider stock tips. Fuck Nancy Pelosi and the husband she rode in on! Ha!

The Democrats don't want to be normal. They want to be special and smart, which Americans as a rule hate. It's putting on the dog; it's too high falutin'. And they're godamn fuckin' right. It's a hell of a way to run a political party, but that's one of a hundred reasons why the suck so much dick. It's to the right of every conservative party in Europe when it comes to the welfare state, which we might have to ditch anyway because? China.

First, you subordinate the capitalists to the state. Second, you make everyone pay 1 or 2 percent in tax. Get those welfare loafers to chip something back in. That would solve some resentment problems. Third, just be normal. Talk normal. They can't and so they won't. Too many coastal elites in charge of that party. They're out of touch and the flyover states are out of mind. They are colonies where resources are extracted. So it ever was...

As Gore Vidal said seriously, I say as a joke: 'If people would simply do as I advise, there isn't a problem on earth that couldn't be solved.' Ha ha ha. For the last time, this song again. Let's end on a joyous note!
